Review of the Collective Monograph «Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Exploring New Horizons»

Abstract

The proposed work gives a brief description of the monograph «Shanghai Cooperation
Organization. Exploring New Horizons» (ed. by S. Marochkin, Yu. Bezborodov. London; New
York: Routledge, 2022. 262 p.). In connection with the proposed expansion of the organization and
the adoption of the Samarkand Declaration in September 2022, the study of the SCO is extremely
relevant. The main areas studied by the authors were legal interaction, security, economic and
humanitarian cooperation. The paper also descibes the prospects for further development of the SCO.
