Abstract

With the advent of state-owned websites and the possibility of linking accounts in social networks and public services, the range of issues that are related to ensuring a safe and full-fledged social life and which the state needs to address is expanding. The article is aimed at finding solutions to typical problems in certain areas of social life in the digital environment, as well as developing mechanisms to ensure the legal security of social life in an informal digital environment in the conditions of existing legislative gaps.

It is revealed that when using digital services, security becomes one of the important characteristics that, along with functionality and information content, have a multi-vector influence: on a person's status, his worldview, on the reputation of the service, on the general trust of users in it. The authors proved that the legal regulation of ensuring security of social life during the digital transformation should include not only the protection of personal data, but, more importantly, the legal protection of the sovereign digital environment, ensuring cybersecurity in social networks, control over information and the formation of digital human rights.
