History of the Development of Scientific Ideas about Crypto-Assets

Abstract

The article discusses issues related to the development of scientific ideas about crypto assets, highlights the main stages and directions of scientific research on crypto assets through the prism of foreign and Russian scientific research. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the formation of scientific knowledge in relation to crypto assets has specific features, in particular: the special role of integrating jurisprudence with other sciences in the implementation of research activities and verification of scientific results; the need to take into account, when studying the phenomenon of crypto assets, the history of the development of scientific ideas of the components that served as the technological basis for their appearance and objects of civil law, similar in legal nature to certain types of crypto assets.
